Thank you to Trooper Dickenson, Trooper Dixon, Officer Thompson, Cotton County Sheriff's office, Temple VFD, Kirk's EMS, and Cotton County Emergency Manager Lori Hedges for taking time out of your day to teach our kids the risks of distracted and impaired driving. In Loving Memory of Judy Taylor Reece (Our Beloved Nana)
Temple Public Schools is deeply saddened by the passing of Judy Taylor Reece, lovingly known to everyone as Nana.
Nana was a proud Temple Tiger and a cherished part of our school family. During her time as a paraprofessional, she made a lasting impact on countless students with her kindness, humor, and big heart. She never met a stranger and adopted every student as one of her own honorary grandkids.
We were blessed to welcome her family back home during this year’s Homecoming—it was truly special to see her smile light up the halls once again.
The staff and students of Temple Public Schools extend our heartfelt sympathy to her daughters, Danko and Julie, and their families.
If you have photos or memories of Nana from her time at Temple, please share them in the comments below. The 2025-2026 Yearbook Staff will be dedicating this year’s edition in her honor and would love to include as many pictures and memories as possible.
Once a Tiger, always a Tiger.

3️⃣ If you could swap places with your teacher for a day, what would you do?
4️⃣ What’s your favorite subject so far?
5️⃣ What’s your favorite recess game?
6️⃣ Who’s the nicest person you met this week?
7️⃣ What’s something your teacher does that makes you happy?
8️⃣ What’s something you learned this week that made you smile?

📸✨ Media Arts in Action! ✨📸
Our Media Arts students have been working hard learning the fundamentals of graphic design and photography. So far, they’ve explored creating their own student-made graphics and have been practicing photography concepts such as:
✅ Rule of Thirds
✅ Leading Lines
✅ Unique Angles & Perspectives
Next week, they’ll put their skills into practice with real cameras—bringing their creativity to life! 🎓🎨
We’re so proud of their hard work and can’t wait to see their projects!
