We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to former TPS student Connor Wakeley, who is currently serving our country in the U.S. Army at Fort Myer, VA. It is with great pride that we share a few of PFC Wakeley's recent accomplishments, including the honor of standing guard at the funeral of the late President Jimmy Carter and at the 2025 Presidential Inauguration of President Donald Trump. Temple Public Schools is incredibly proud of Connor and we would like to express our heartfelt thanks for his service and the sacrifices he is making for our country. Connor is the son of Ryan and Stephanie Ledford of Temple, OK and Charlie and Leilani Wakeley of Texas.
